Hillary approaches 50% in Rasmussen Primary Poll;, increases lead over Republicans

In the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. Clinton attracts 48% support, her highest total of the year. New data released today also shows Clinton with her biggest lead of the year over Republican frontrunners Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson.

Barack Obama, at 24%, has half the support that Clinton enjoys. John Edwards, at 12%, has half the support earned by Obama. Dennis Kucinich, at 4%, is the only other candidate who attracts more than 3% support from Likely Democratic Primary Voters
