....Gore is on fire - I don't even think Hillary or Obama could beat Gore if the 2 of them merged into one to run against him.

1. Biden has won my grudging respect
He is my second choice for President, after Kucinich.

3. I have to pinch myself everytime I see that from you.
You were one of Biden's harshest critics.

7. Despite what some people say, progressives are not "100-percent" purists
but there are some core issues on which we cannot compromise. For example, the Constitution and our civil liberties are not something to be bargained away. Neither is torture and wars of aggression ever acceptable.

While I still have my differences with Biden, he brings a lot of positive things to the table. Biden doesn't triangulate or parses an issue. Biden doesn't tell one group one thing, and another group something else. Biden is the Democratic "straight talker." Biden is the only candidate having a well-thought out plan on the table that will get us out of Iraq (I have some criticism of it, but I give the man credit for proposing a pragmatic plan that will end the war, not keep the occupation going ad infinitum like some of the top tier candidates are proposing.

I could go on, but it is getting late.

4. If Gore runs - wow - I will have some serious thinking to do.
Probably I would support them both and be happy with either one winning.

11. I will stick with Biden.
Gore was my candidate in 2000 and Kerry was my candidate in 2004 and Biden is my candidate for 2008.:patriot:

12. Glad to see another supporter for Joe!
Even if Gore does throw his hat into the ring I'm still voting for Biden. Gore is strong in environmental issues and domestics but I think that Biden is stronger in all categories. I have no doubt whatsoever that Biden will focus on the environmental changes we need. So that eliminates for me the need to elect Gore. Biden's plan for global warming and fuel efficiency/carbon emissions, etc is right on target w/ Gore's ideas. If only Biden could be Pres w/ Gore working for him! I guess I can dream.

14. I agree with you
I think Gore can do much more good for the environment outside the White House. Joe Biden is far more diversified and there are so many issues to address.

13. I know where Bob Marley played soccer in Wilmington...
...on the Friends School soccer field...

I wish Biden all the best in his campaign. He'd be a great addition in the Obama administration.

Does Charcoal Pit have a burger named after him yet?

20. Obama isnt
seasoned enough. maybe two more terms as senator... get to senior senitor... then he would be a great prez. just now it is too soon. Obama is the best orator of the bunch, but far too inexperienced.

23. Count me in as another Biden supporter.
The way I see it, Biden represents the smallest room for error at a time when our country's future is really at stake. His ideas are smart and well grounded. The man knows his way around better than any other candidate.
