Colbert: did you shrink this pocket Constitution yourself?

DK: No, that was George Bush

keeping the constitution in his pocket is a damned good thing. Pity too many other candidates forgot what it says.

10. What I agree with Dennis Kucinich about
That's the reinstating of The Fairness Doctrine, something which would require the media to give Democratic and Republican points of view equal time....as opposed to how it's been for too long, where the GOP get like an hour and then the Democratic Party get like 10 minutes....and then the discussion panel proceed to stroke and lick the GOP and proceed to bash the Democrats.

F*** triangulation. F*** catering to the "center".

The 65%+ of this country who agree with the traditionally Democratic stances on the major issues want to see someone who is unapologetic in their progressivism.

17. no, nor does he shy away from pointing out differences. that is not
bashing, just mentioning facts.

my fear is that Dennis represents many of my ideals, my thoughts, my issues. But Bush has destroyed so much, so fast, that it either is too late, or we need a revolution, not Kucinich styled evolution of our plans and ideals. If elected, he may simply inherit such intractable problems that no one person could solve them. and he would end up being blamed, as we turn further into a fascist nation.

21. He's right 99% of the time
Except for your occasional screwups like the Faux Noise thing and voting against SCHIP.

The big three--
1. No permanent presence in Iraq
2. Universal health CARE, not insurance, no one left out for ANY reason
3. Fair trade

Also strong on restoring civil liberties, in favor of medical marijuana, in favor of full marriage equality.

27. SCHIP, He voted for it -When it included legal immigrant's children -before he voted against it-
When they took legal immigrant children out of the bill.

i like that he wasn't just going to go along because he could claim he supported CHIP as it was leaving 600,000 kids out in the cold.

He's not afraid to do what's right, even if doing what's right can be held against him politically.

30. Astute observation which
succinctly sums up the nub of why he really can't be portrayed by corporate media as the passsionately altrusitic advocate of a planet becoming quickly healthier across-the-board that he is.

Regards to large bloc(s) of Minnesota soul kin. I am always happier learning that others see the clarity of "big picture" goings-on thru a common and caring prism.

29. He is a candiate that is actually asking for impeachment and...
speaking out about it. He has also spoke out on the privatization of Iraq's oil, two things that mean allot and the other candidates are where on this?

He gives us a voice and attacks the issues that we want attacked, very important in a candidate that wants to run for president. We don't need another president that doesn't speak out and give Americans a voice. The ones that are afraid to speak for us now when we are about to place votes, sure wont speak for us after they win.

33. I see that DK has guts by leading an anti-war march past bush's
old place in Maine. He also showed compassion for somebody that had fallen and was suffering due to the heat in that same march by staying with him until help arrived. That's more compassion than bush has shown in his entire 2 terms.

And yes, before anyone decides to start making negative comments in here, I WILL vote for the other ones if they get the nod. A brain-damaged monkey in a neglege would be better than a republican by this point. Heck, I'd even vote for a gorilla in a banana suit if I it would keep a republican out of office...

39. You know why I can tell he's the one the fascisti fear the most?
Because he has been systematically marginalized by the corporate owned, Bush controlled press.
The big push for Al Gore by this same press reveals alot about they wanting him in the mix too.
