Biden picks up ***13*** endorsements from Massachusettes
Biden For President Announces 13 Massachusetts Political Endorsements
October 16th, 2007 by Erin Medlicott
Oct. 16: At a stellar press conference in Boston this afternoon, 13 Massachusetts legislators, including Mass. House Majority Leader John Rogers and State Sen. Walter F. Timilty, took to the podium to publicly announce their endorsement of Senator Joe Biden for president.

“With Joe Biden, we don’t have to worry about a lack of experience,” remarked Majority Leader Rogers. “He will be ready on day one…with no on the job training needed. I’m very comfortable that he can win.”

21. My guess would be...
Kerry and Kennedy would love to endorse Joe, but they'll probably wait till the first week of Primaries is over. Too bad, because it would really help Joe if they endorsed him now.

23. You're right. It's got to be tough for them as they are friends with all the candidates in the
Senate.

Kerry standing up with Biden in favor of his amendment was huge to me.
I have the utmost respect for Kerry.

15. a pitbull with class, good one
Also, a man with a plan, or better yet, good plans, workable plans. Who in Congress doesn't at least respect him?

5. His campaign reminds me of Kerry's.
He's staying in the background for now, quietly building support, not doing anything rash. I think we can expect to see him come up from behind in the coming weeks and everyone will be wondering what happened.

6. That's what I think as well
Let the front runners take all the hits from the media for now - a downside of being a front runner.

:7 Actually Biden is a great dark horse guy , if top tier fatigue sets in. I like him a lot personally, even though I have issue with a couple of his votes. You can't be in the Senate for all those years and not have made a few compromises along the way.

I'm sure Clinton has been working Kennedy hard for those endorsements, so kudos to Joe for the "get"

20. As expected, no media coverage...
from Wolfe Blitzer, CNN Situation Room. On the CNN website/Political Ticker there's a small blip all the way on the bottom of the page. No mention from Chris Matthews on Hardball, or the MSNBC site. If it were someone else, we'd be hearing it on every channel, 24/7.
Incredible. Is the media paid off or something?

24. "With Joe Biden, we don’t have to worry about a lack of experience"
With Joe Biden in the White House, I don't have to worry about our troops being kept in Iraq beyond 2012, as Hillary and Obama have said.

With Joe Biden in the White House, I don't have to worry about him going to war with Iran just to prove he is as macho as previous wartime Presidents, as a certain ambitious female Presidential candidate advocates in the current edition of Foreign Affairs.

27. I can imagine a world
where I wake up each day knowing that I don't have to check the news every hour or so to make sure we aren't of the verge of Armageddon or global financial disaster. A world that is not problem-free, but know that the problems are handled with competence and intelligence. A world where I don't have to fear the loss of yet another freedom and I can speak and act freely without looking over my shoulder. A world where I'm not outraged on a daily basis.

When I imagine this world, I imagine Joe Biden in the White House. No one else thus far has instilled that sense of confidence in me.
