Obama's guy said something about how Giuliani had no problem cozying up to HUGO Chavez and taking his dough! He also threw a line in there that sort of put Rudy and Senator Clinton in the same box.

Details escape me. You'll have to turn on the tube.

I just caught the tail end on MSGOP...I'm sure they'll put it in heavy rotation. These catfights always excite the punditry.

In trying to prove his GOP bona fides, Rudy Giuliani said in a speech today that he "gave my blood" for the Republican Party in New York.

But 'twas not always so.

Greg Sargent has obtained a copy of a video showing Rudy back in 1996 telling Charlie Rose, "I'm really not" a Republican Mayor.
