8. He pretty much came out and said Edwards makes the most sense. |
|
Questioned Mr. Edwards on the global warming issue, which has gotten so much worse even since Gore's movie.
I'm sure there will be a video.

How ARE you, and did you see the 9/11 disruptors? Shocker for this program.
I "love" Sheila Jackson Lee, too, though Bill had to make a snide comment about her. :pals: to you!

Bill needed to dump on someone since his audience were bad boys and girls tonight and he won't dump on Matthews.
I'm good ... busy - new job keeping me hopping more than I thought it would, but I try to drop in whenever I can.
Can't resist a Maher thread if it's a new show and I can actually watch it live.
Hope things are great with you and yours too! :)

We need real leadership again in the White House. I sure hope Edwards gains big in Iowa in January when it matters. The Clinton camp can bask in their 35% in October.

17. After Kucinich, Edwards' policies match up with mine best. I'm always surprised how many people pick |
|
a "favorite" by some process that doesn't appear to involve much consideration of the candidates' policies. For example, I never understand when I see someone whose favorite candidate is at one end of the spectrum and their second choice is at the opposite end of the spectrum.

there are some part-time pols who do this sort of thing, like supporting whichever party seems to be ascending, but Edwards is not one of these types, thank goodness.

and if people want to make it more than that, well then consider that when you pit corporate shill vs. corporate shill you lose millions of liberal voters at the polls, which makes the battleground states we all know about - RED.

26. I was REALLY glad to hear Maher supports Edwards. |
|
I think most Dems who know what's going on in the world, and who probably would rather Gore or Kucinich take the helm, would support Edwards. He's learned a lot in the time he's been in politics. I just hope the neocons don't chew him up & spit him out like they did the last southern gentleman that was elected = Carter.

34. Bill Maher was a complete sexist pig last night. |
|
He used the Ellen breakdown earlier in the week to show his ridiculous view of all women. He is about his weed and his penis. That's it - he could not be a more shallow boy.
I like John Edwards far more than Bill. And, although JE is not my first choice for President, I am certain he is not a sexist cretin.

38. You're right, he's all about his weed and his penis, |
|
which must be small since he is such a misogynist. I don't know anything about the Ellen breakdown you refer to but I do know how Maher disparages women, refuse to watch him. He is funny once in a while but too often he is just mean to some group of people, often female people.
Edwards shouldn't be burdened with Maher's endorsement. Bill will probably vote for Ghouliani, anyway,
