The navy killed my daughter

MANAMA: A grieving mother last night blamed US navy officials in Bahrain for the murders of her daughter and a female colleague. Genesia Mattril Gresham, 19, and colleague Anamarie Sannicolas Camacho, 20, were shot dead at the Naval Support Activity Base, Juffair, at around 5am on Monday. Their alleged killer, fellow serviceman Clarence Jackson, 20, is clinging to life after apparently shooting himself in the head immediately after the murders.
Jackson had a restraining order against him and had been on suicide watch, after he allegedly attacked Miss Gresham less than four months ago, her mother Anita told the GDN from the US.
She blamed officials for leaving her daughter exposed to danger from a man she said turned nasty when she tried to cool their "casual" relationship. "They knew his state of mind and after he had a restraining order he was on suicide watch, yet was allowed out and allowed to have a gun," said the mother.
"She (Genesia) was over there trying to protect our country and they should have done everything they could to protect her."...
