The next Dem debate is coming up. Is there anything in particular
that you think will happen over there, in regards to one of the candidates? A very strong performance by someone? A more aggressive approach by someone? A masterful performance that will shake up the race?

Tell us what you expect.

1. hope they keep it civil
I look forward to the debate, but I do hope that there isn't a lot of negativity. Keep it to the issues - you know, the high road(as opposed to the low, muddy one):patriot:

7. I hope your right. It may get brutal.
I hope someone calls Hillary out, and calls her out strong. Now, I will vote for her if she's our candidate, but must it come to that? She acts like she is our candidate. Someone needs to step up and show that this is not the case. Maybe Edwards?

5. I think Kucinich will come out strong.
But I guess I'm just gauging who has the truth on their side, and who has been right about everything since 2001 rather than the commodity the American public will buy. I'll bet the more they show his wife nodding in agreement to something he's said, the more his poll numbers will go up. Obama's a good speaker, but either the recent flak is going to fire him up, or make him seem a bit meek and wishy-washy. I like him, but the ability to give a moving speech doesn't move me unless I know that person will stand behind their words without fail. Hillary will pretend to give long, complex answers to simple questions without actually answering a single goddamned one. Nevertheless, all the moderators will focus on her for some reason. Dodd will say all the right things and yet go unnoticed by the voters. Biden will probably be stronger then usual, he can say the right things, but he has backed down too much in the Senate for me to believe he means what he says. Mike Gravel will say something outrageous, but true, and make me laugh. I don't know about Bill Richardson. He might say something of consequence, but then completely obliterate it with his next statement. I dunno.

Of all our candidates, I feel only Dodd and Kucinich have consistently backed up their words by their actions in Congress. The others might vote the right way most of the time, but I don't feel they represent the people of the U.S., more like their own self-interests and buddy clubs they belong to in D.C.

8. Very good predictions, liberal. I agree with you for the most part.
However, I read somewhere that Gravel won't be there.
