Clinton leads foes (except for McCain in Virginia) |
|
From www.surveyusa.com
Clinton leads Giuliani 47%-46%
Clinton leads Thompson 51%-43%
Clinton leads Romney 51%-41%
Clinton leads Huckabee 52%-38%
Clinton trails McCain 52%-42% :banghead:
But it's important to remember that Virigina isn't the most Democratic friendly area, even Bill Clinton didn't win here....So, to be this competitive in such a red state is a good sign...I think the northern area is becoming a very Democratic??, anyone from VA. that can shed light on the state of the Democratic party there?

She Could Still Lose The Election |

And we might get Giuliani, who would be worse than Bush. We should look at someone who would not energize her haters to come to the polls. Edwards would do better, or Richardson.

The last two governors elected were Democrats... the fact that Hilary Clinton is leading all but one of the pub candidates shows quite a bit of progress for us.

7. Actually Hillary leading anyone is big news for Va |
|
but then if you (not YOU ) believe that those mystery voters out in the Shenandoah Valley really gave W an 8% win here in 2004 you will believe just about anything.

4. We could hope that (I know I do). |

But the right wing wackadoos talk big now, 2 months from the primaries. But if/when Hillary starts winning primaries, and it finally sinks in that, MY GOD, a WOMAN, and a CLINTON at that, could very well be the next president, they'll fall in line behind whoever is nominated. In that case, it seems clear that guiliani certainly be the toughest repub to beat. don't hope for him TOO hard.

3. Jesus--WTF with McCain? He's still got a lot of goodwill somewhere. |
|
Good thing he won't be the nominee. Repubs are stooooopid.

5. It's the war hero thing. |
|
I'm convinced that's the only reason why someone would still support him.
