What Would Happen If the US Left Iraq?
Aside from all the benefits of shedding the costs of this unwinnable war, that is?

Well, the first thing that would have to happen (after the War Crimes trials, the paper ballots and restoring the Constitution and its freedoms) is a concerted effort to wean America off oil. That means:

Solar
Wind
Insulation
Telecommuting
Pumped storage
Mass transit
Efficiencies
Less marketing of unwanted and unneeded crap

There is a silver lining here--the massive economic disruptions of outsourcing can be used to build a new, renewable and sustainable economy.
