It will be our 200th on Daily Kos. The series began in a diary I did on April 4, 2007. People in the comments suggested some of us do the news every night, so those who wanted to do so volunteeered that night and it grew from there.

200 diaries is a lot for any series.

We'll have e-cake and e-beer.

We are just citizen activists. Not front pagers, not famous bloggers. Just folks who support a candidate.

Some put us down as "stupid candidate diaries" or whatever, but to me, this is some of the best of what Daily Kos can be. Regular people becoming political activists. Empowerment of "ordinary" Democrats.

If you want to come by for our party tonight, you all are invited. (okay, y'all are!!)
