The stakes have now been raised.
Effort to re-open Roe v. Wade

They just reached out and touched my other hot-button issue. I had always intended to vote for the Democratic nominee, but this f-ing tears it. I'm leaving the Green Party after 8 years, putting a big, fat, f-ing ABB stamp on my forehead, and coming back to the Democratic Party.

6. Glad To See You Galvanized - It Will Take This Level Of Outrage
To liberate the country from the powers that be.

Sadly, most sheeple are too willing to be lulled to sleep nightly by the Rove controlled talking heads.

This is why Bush will win again in November.

200 million will purchase unmatched levels of brain washing.

It can be overcome, but not without an all out assault of a galvanized electorate.

The 40,000 at DU will not be enough. We are too fragmented, too disorganized, and too marginalized by our own special interests.

10. Welcome Home!
We ain't perfect... but we're perfectly BETTER than what's in there now... and we're perfectly able to defeat and replace the monsters who inhabit the WH now.

11. It wasn't democratic members that drove me off.
It was the DLC, pure and simple.

12. Don't do it! You can vote against Bush without selling out to his enablers
in the Democratic Party. Don't forget: it's only with the cooperation and assistance of the spineless Democrats, that the GOP has gotten to where it is!!

Your voting strategy should take into account, of course, the state where you live and what else is available there. If you live in a state where either Bush or the Dem is clearly going to win, you get a "free" vote. You could vote for the Socialist Worker Party and it would make no difference. If November comes & it looks close, you can vote hold your nose and vote for the Dem - and then starting working against him, the day after the election.

I'm not real happy with the Democratic party myself right now, but the stakes are too hight this time around to be anything other than ABB. I congratulate you on your decision.

14. Now don't wash your forehead
until after November! ;)

Welcome back! You know, a lot of us who have been in the Dem party are extremely frustrated right now, as well, but unless we get bush out of our White House, we are truly screwed. Truly royally screwed.

I think that after we get the Dem nominee elected in November, the Democratic Party will have to face a real shakeup, but until then, we simply have to keep our priority absolutely solidly set at ousting bush and his cronies and his appointments from our White House!!!

Thank you for your post! :toast:
