Are people aware that the most money Diebold gave to any canidate...
in any race ever was to Edward's opponent in his 1998 Senate race, Lauch Faircloth?

This was posted here a long time ago, and I wish I kept the link. Perhaps someone who's more intrepid than I am would be willing to look up the numbers on opensecrets.org, or maybe I'll do it later.

1. Diebold giving contributions
to any campaign is illustrative of a totally corrupt system of governance.

3. You don't think it's interesting that the candidate Diebold was most
motivated to protect was a RW Senator from NC who, until the last week of the campaign was 10 points ahead of his opponenent, and that that opponent happens to be running for president today, in an election year in which people are very concerened about electronic voting?

6. Why such an intense in interest in a NC senator in '98.
It looks the rest of their non-PAC contributions were to Ohio politicians.

Faircloth was a freshman senator, so it's not like he had a lot of power.

What committees did he serve on?
