The media that was following Dean around, gave him a T-Shirt, the day he gave the news conference stating that he was not actively campaigning, which stated:
ESTABLISHMENT MEDIA (on the front)
WE HAVE THE POWER (on the back).
Sad, but true!
http://tom-fitzgerald-kr.blogspot.com/In 2003 Dean received 49% favorable reporting to all other Candidates receiving 78% favorable reporting. He still was ahead in the polls by over 20 points. He then told Chris Matthews that he would take back the media for the American people. Right after that, he started getting really bad press, everywhere. He dropped fast.
Many of DUer's are wondering why we won't rollover & just jump on someone else's bandwagon.
We feel that this has not been a fair process. But, most importantly, none of the other Candidates hold the same beliefs and positions that we have.
Also, Gov. Dean has asked us to continue to vote for him, because he has not withdrawn from this race. 75% of the delegates have not been won. Dean is in second place in the delegate count. The more he receives, the more his and our values will have a voice at the Convention and in the party platform.
Tell me, why should we give our power up, to support someone who's positions and votes we don't support?
This is the Primary, not the General Election! We can and must vote our conscious NOW! Later, we can vote for whomever the rest of the Democrats have chosen!
Stay with Dean and fight for all the delegates you can give him! After the Convention, fight for the Democratic Nominee with all your might, because we MUST remove Bush and his gang from power!
In the Primary, VOTE YOUR CHOICE, NOT THE POLLS!
In the General Election, VOTE ABB!
Until after the Convention, all voices must be heard! Do not be quiet! Be the Burr in the Saddle, the Squeaky Wheel..... What we believe in, is important!
