Edwards Has Too Much Trust In The Neo-Cons & PNAC, Too Niave To Be POTUS |
|
Edwards has no National Security EXPERIENCE or Foreign Policy EXPERIENCE.
Not only would he be captive to his Advisors... he has already shown a complete lack of discrimination by having Shelton on his team (the guy who helped discredit O'Neill about a month ago).
Edwards happily links 9/11 to the war in Iraq and doesn't think Saddam's threat was exaggerated.

1. Kerry is trailing Bush on the issue most important to most Americans. |
|
Jobs.
To get the nomination, Kerry now has to cross his fingers and hope that Americans don't learn about what John Edwards stands for.
And that's just to make it to the GE.
What's he going to do then? Tell everyone that he had more experience than John Edwards?

6. Who Said Anything About Jobs? And Edwards Is Pandering To Fear |
|
which is what Protectionism is. Using people's ignorance about how our Economy works and their fear of losing jobs.
Edwards is doing the same stupid thing Dean did.
Either Edwards is stupid when it comes to Economics or he is willing to pander to people's worst instincts when it comes to jobs.
The problem isn't jobs going overseas... it's lack of JOB CREATION.
So Edwards, the son of a Textile Mill Manager, wants all those low paying jobs in factories to stay here.
So no Middle Class can spring up in India and buy American products. So Americans won't bother getting better higher tech jobs.
Yeah, Edwards is happy keeping people stupid and working in factories.

But if you want to see the most idiotic way conceivable to promote your candidate, hop on over here and read just what AP is doing for (or should I say to) John Edwards: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=375854 (Yeah, it's about jobs)

16. And Edwards was 13 points behind Kerry. So what's your point? |
|
I can't believe that you're using an argument for Edwards and against Kerry in which Edwards is way behind Kerry!
Are we being a tad selective in our editing?

2. Then I can assume you also cannot vote for Kerry |
|
because while Edwards may "trust" the neocons, Kerry has their active endorsement, in the person of one Will Marshall, and the funding from FAUX News, official network of PNAC.

12. Glad to hear that you're not a bandwagoner! |

But my statement still stands for those who are. And for the record, I'm not happy with Edwards voting record under the BCE regime either.

All he's really proven is he is good at manipulating people.
He didn't even know who Rabin was.

Having voted for someone else, but your statement about him being naive, as well as your response, both seem to be somewhat...shall we say, untainted by any empirical evidence.
And which is it, BTW - is he naive? Or is he manipulative? Those would seem to be somewhat mutually exclusive traits.
(Note to self: surely I have better things to do...)

7. I agree. America is lost unless it can have a leader willing to stand up |
|
to the PNACers, AIPAC, AEI, and other neocons. We can not continue to blindly swallow anything Israel does that sets us up as patsies and then allow the Wolfowitzes, and Perles of the world insist on having us fight the wars caused by their agenda. It is not anti-Semetic to put America first. Why do we always have to put I Israeli agenda first? Why are we not consistent about terrorism? There terrorists we love and we call them freedom fighters. There are terrorists we hate...we used to call them communists and now we call them Mulsims. Saddam used be our buddy in fighting the Iranians while Israel armed the Iranians. Now Israel is after Iran as we have removed Saddam. Apartheid was evil, yet for far too long we quietly supported it while Israel brazingly supplied WMDs to the Apartheid regime.
Putting Edwards in office would guarantee more of the same I am afraid. I was glad when Dean's campaign manager quit...I think his advice had a lot to do with Dean's demise. Wake up America. All you patriots out there...PUT AMERICA FIRST...you haven't really been doing that since 1948.

And his foriegn policy experience is nill. And before you all jump on me for Bush's foriegn policy experience in 2000, that was pre 9/11. All has changed since that dreadful date.

democratic politics now knows that the DLC has sniffed out Edwards and smelled fresh meat for their favorite supporters, the DLC. He is cut out of the same cloth as Kerry and is highly coveted fresh blood for the politics as usual crowd in DC. His slow southern drawl beseeching the ever crowd pleasing cliche "I am just like you" meme is very appealing to alot of people and they are taking full advantage of that.... he is the potato chips for your new ham sandwich..... enjoy. sigh......

Kerry is no different and doesn't even have a chairman of the joint chiefs on his side. Bush has 3+ years of EXPERIENCE, another chairman of the joint chiefs and therefore is the winner !
