When it comes to endorsing candidates, who are the real heavyweights?
You'd have to say Ted Kennedy and Al Gore would be near the top of the list, if not at the top. John Kerry's endorsement could hold some clout, too, if and when he gives one. What about Jimmy Carter? Nancy Pelosi? How do they stack up as far as influencing the outcome with an endorsement?

What individuals would you classify as being someone who could deliver a powerful ringing endorsement for one of the candidates before the Primaries ends, and which one holds the most clout?

1. The only endorsement I really care about is my own...

But I would listen closely to what Gore has to say ~ especially with regard to the environment. And I also very much respect Jimmy Carter, and always take his views into consideration.

6. I'm 99% sure I read somewhere Al said he'd be endorsing someone. I think he endorsed Dean last time.
I think Kerry will endorse someone, too, I'd guess Obama.

18. The Clinton, Biden, Edwards and Obama endorsements will carry some weight.
Maybe Bill Richardson would even consider one of them as his running mate!

3. Ted Kennedy, Al Gore, And Jimmy Carter
That being said it's hard to measure the effect of endorsements... Lots of folks credit Ted Kennedy for resurrecting John Kerry's 04 campaign but I think the case can be made Dean imploded...

16. Who's Chuck Norris endorsing? He was at the 'Pukefest last night.
Just in case anyone doesn't know, Chuck Norris is a SERIOUS Dominionist fuckwit who wants to make Bible teaching mandatory in public schools.
