7. Yes? What did he play?
He looks rather intense, in the 'I don't know if this mentally unstable person is going to tear my throat out' sense

8. Really really terrible lead guitar
he was completely tone-deaf, and couldn't carry a tune with a front-end loader. However he did have the most expensive guitar and the loudest amp, so he got the job by default. I got stuck playing rhythm guitar and singing.

18. oh g-d, you made me look
at the Ghastly Rick Astley...

argggghhhhhhh

and the Nick song still fits well for the good Senator:

"All men are liars
Their words ain't worth no more than worn-out tyres
Hey girls
Bring rusty pliers
To pull this tooth
All men are liars
And that's the truth"

19. I actually like that video...
...and the Pet Shop Boys.

It's nice to have a place where I can admit these things. Oh how I love
the series of Intertubes!

21. The Pet Shop Boys are fab
I know, what's the big deal about liking a Pet Shop Boys video? They're great artists, and staunch liberals too. Their last album's title "I'm With Stupid" referred to Blair and Bush.

12. What's this whole "Rick Roll" thing? Is this old 1980's music video the center of a running joke...
...now, or what?

What ever it was, it wasn't at all funny.

Damn, what the hell was that guy's name? Was that his only hit?

He has a nice voice. I could just imagine him whispering in my ear. Aaaah!
But fame is fleeting. I can't remember his name.

22. That was on a Family Guy rerun episode last night.
Called "Meet the Quagmires" where Peter goes back in time. They have a dance at the Newport country club and Lois kisses Quagmire and ends up marrying him.

The dog gets on stage and starts singing "Never Gonna Give You Up", after announcing "Here's a song by a gay guy."

Peter Griffin is supposed to be going back to 1984 when Lois was 18, but the song didn't come out until 1987. Blooper!
