I suspect Nader is going to announce tomorrow that he is NOT running
He only got 3% of the vote last time, and only likely to get 1% this time if he's lucky. (Regardless of what some bogus, unsourced polls I've seen here suggest)

Most Nader voters from 2000 are voting Dem this time.

He ran an exploratory for a run with dreadful results. I read it a couple weeks ago and have no link. If anyone is familiar with that and knows how to find it please do post it in this thread.

The man is 70 years old. Ego notwithstanding, he's not immortal.

I just have a hunch that his announcement is going to be that he is NOT running, instead of that he is.

Anybody with me on this?

1. Well I hope you are right
but I don't think people go on TV to say they are not running for office. Supposedly McAullife has been negotiating with him. If he could keep Nader out it would represent the first real victory during his tenure as DNC Chairman.

4. I've wondered about that
It would be the opposite of what Ahnold did in CA. He had everyone thinking he was going to announce he was not going to run, then announced the opposite.

This would be a very effective way for Nader to promote the Democrats and ABB in a big way. If he does, I will worship his righteous ass.

6. Hmmm, I doubt he's actually promote the Democrats or ABB
I think he's give them some shit.

I just have this hunch he's not going to run. We'll find out soon enough.

9. He's already "not running". Why would that require an announcement?

11. That Would Be Wise Of Him, Ma'am

He cannot have received much encouragement toward a repeat of his last folly over the last several days, and people are influenced by such outcries....

"Kill one, warn one hundred."

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"
