how do we know Nader isn't getting paid?
Considering the recent revelations regarding Al Sharpton in the Village Voice, that he received financial support and donations of services from the Rove operative who managed the mob in Florida 2000, it just seems logical to think that Nader is getting some support from the same gang.

They gave Sharpton the use of phone banks, as well as travel money and other tools.

Of course they're doing the same for Nader, and probably did in 2000.

My feelings exactly. I want to know who the Rove Rats are that are backing Nader.

4. That's a great point
I hadn't even thought of that. BTW, Josh Marshall notes that Nader's new Web site actually tries to make the case that his being in the race will help the Dem get elected. :eyes:

8. I believe that Nader is a republican.
After listening to him this AM suggesting that Gore would have entered into Iraq as * has was very partisan. He is still trying to paint the Dems and Repugs as being the same.

Is this an attempt at humor or hubris?

Does any Green or Independent want to challenege this?

How could you support somebody so out of touch with reality?

9. Of course he is, and was on their payroll in 2000 as well.
He's a reptile, just as our Magistrate says, although to characterize him using that term is an unfair canard against the Snake People and our other reptilian brethen, a race of honorable beings whose scales Nader is not fit to clean, IMO.

11. He could help the Dems, but he probably won't...
He claims to have vision - he doesn't.

He has an opportunity to rile up Dem candidates and make Dem leaders come to ther senses - but he may no longer be trustworthy. There were too many things revealed in 2000 that turned me off - especially owning stocks in the very same corporations he lectures about. I don't trust him. There seem to be two Ralph Naders.

In regards to 2000, he was a traitor to the people, he aided the corporations who now rule us in the guise of a marionette and the marionettes' string pullers who are absolutely and unconditionally against the little people - and who laugh in our face if we say this is the U.S., of the people, for the people, by the people and who laugh every time anyone says the word democratic and democracy.

Tell us all about your money Ralph, and maybe it will reveal what we need to know about you. At this minute in time, I believe Nader is for Nader and money is his motivator.

What money did the Green Party receive by letting him use them in 2000? I hope it was plenty. I'd really like to know how much went into his pocket.

Money, money, money - as always, follow the money trail.

I still think thats the reason he disappeared right after the election. He didn't show his face for almost a year after. Now Bush is in trouble, all of a sudden he's baaack!
