So, after all the whining and bullshit about Romney is done...
and people who know little about Mormonism trash Mormonism, and he's automatically trashed because he's a Republican...

Will somebody bother to talk about just how he actually governed Massachussetts? Seems like that's really the most important thing to know about him.

So far, it looks he's the best they got, and I'm thinking it might be best for him to get the nomination, unless some better dark horse comes to the rescue.

No matter whio we run, there is always that possibility that we could lose-- we lost to far worse that last two time out.

Doesn't make any difference if the elections were stolen or not-- we still lost and got stuck with this asswipe we have now. Should we lose again, for whatever reason, I would hope their guy is minimally competant, and Mittens seems like the only one they have. The rest of their field ranges from the insane to the frightening.

1. I agree with you that he's the least frightening of the lot. I don't know
much about his record as gov, just that he is well-educated (Harvard business and law degrees) and was competent in the business world. And a flipper and a flopper on social issues.

3. My biggest problem with Mittens is that he runs with a policy that
he thinks will win THAt campaign. I can't tell what he would really do as a Prez.

4. As A Massachusetts Resident...
I can say with full confidence that he was an AWFUL governor. Actually, he TRIED to be an awful governor, but our state legislature (almost totally Democratic) kept him from doing too much harm. For example, one of the first things he did as governor was slash the budget for mental health servces, which would have dumped into the street many people with severe mental health problems - after an enormous outcry, he reversed this. He mostly stayed out of the state, and returned only once a month or so for photo ops with the handful of gay-haters that we have in Mass.

Etc.

He is incredibly smart, and perfectly amoral.

6. Yep -- he was just padding his resume in Massachusetts
It was obviously pretty quickly after he took office that he had his mind on bigger and better things than little old Massachusetts.

A carpetbagger governor.

You know how to find them.
