The traditional Democratic tactic of ignore and move on is a disaster. |
|
That's why I think we need to up front confront Repuke Ralph and take him down. Pretending something vile and divisive isn't there just DOES NOT work. Been there done that! Ask Tom Daschle, the master of obfuscation. When will we ever learn?

You folks must take him down. For the good of the world. Don't ignore him if you do that it's all over.

7. This demands skill, not hamfisted bashing of Nader. |
|
It is hard to take down nader when the principles he promotes are popular within the party.

2. Edwards or Kerry or some other high-profile Dem |

needs to go on the air and suggest investigation of Nader's contributors. And behind the scenes, there ought to be a lot of discrediting going on. We can't let this weasel and his right-wing backers screw up our chances at regaining the White House.
You're right. Stop ignoring the Nader Problem and address it directly.

at by seeing Nader as a problem, you are guilty of the same kind of thinking as the neocons, IMO.
Nader has just as much right as any American to run for the presidency.
And no, FYI, I am not voting for Nader.

12. Seems really very simple to me. |

Maybe I'm just dense but why not try to find out what Nader is saying that resonates with people and figure out what is lacking in our own platform to cause them to pay attention?
