kos (dailykos.com) endorses Edwards |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-23-04 01:05 AM by AP
That's an interesting endorsement.
Edwards for President www.dailykos.com by kos Mon Feb 23rd, 2004 at 05:23:29 GMT
Given my obvious indifference to endorsements, it now seems silly that I myself decide to make my own. But I don't make this endorsement to convince any of you to vote for my choice. I appreciate this community because you are all individuals capable of making such choices for yourselves. I do it to articulate the reasons why I will vote for John Edwards on March 2nd. ... I prefer to look beyond November. To be blunt, I want what the Republicans have -- the trifecta. I want the White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court. I want as many state houses and legislatures as we can get. I want complete dominance. ... I want someone who symbolizes the future of our party. Someone whose rhetoric inspires, rather than bores. Someone who has run a positive campaign worthy of praise, rather than someone who has used slash and burn campaign tactics against members of his own party. Someone who people actually like, rather than support for some bizarre notion of "electability". ... To me there's no question, thus my vote will be for Edwards.

So far, you picked Dean, and now Edwards. Doesn't sound like a good track record, but then again, my guy lost, too.

5. Kos is the best blog on the Web |
|
Hands down. What he has built over there is awesome. Its where I spend most of my time. I love some of these quotes and they make so much damn sense.
"I want someone who symbolizes the future of our party. Someone whose rhetoric inspires, rather than bores."
--Ouch
"Someone who has run a positive campaign worthy of praise, rather than someone who has used slash and burn campaign tactics against members of his own party."
--Double Ouch, but oh so true.
"Someone who people actually like, rather than support for some bizarre notion of "electability". "
--Again, right on the money.
I'll be voting for Edwards on Super Tuesday with Kos.
