1. That makes it better? Why register if you don't plan on using them? nt

3. To keep others from using them? To have if needed.
What has Obama registered? Nothing? How foolish. Green.

5. To have "if needed"?
Smells like moral relativism for breakfast!

14. How mealy-mouthed. Both this and the OP.
Sen. Clinton has registered them, planning to use them in order to attack Sen. Obama's voting record. Sen Obama's voting record is a fair issue for a campaign. "Oh, she hasn't used it yet!" is a lame defense.

Sen. Obama's record is a legitimate issue, just as Sen. Clinton's is. Going after your opponent on the votes they have cast (and the votes they have avoided casting) is fair. No defense is required.

They just made this stuff up! They need their mouth washed out with soap!

6. I see nothing wrong at all with launching such sites...
If Obama didn't want to be attacked for ducking votes...well...he should have voted...

Obamanians apparently believe Obama's record as a part time state legislator...is off limits for some reason...

8. Glad you feel that way
Voters won't read the sites, they'll just hear she's gone negative again. It's a net loss for Team Restoration.

12. Which is a very clever tactic on Sen. Obama's part.
With her ridiculous Kindergarten/Students/Drug-Dealer/Madrassa string of embarrassing shitflinging, she's managed to paint herself as an unrepentantly negative campaigner. Legitimate attacks, such as Obama's voting record, can now be turned back on Sen. Clinton (with some success, I would bet) as "just more negative campaigning." She walked right into this; it's a classic crying-wolf story.

I thought that was the whole point of the Hillacopter I'm-a-Real-Person tour.

Whatever...more power to 'em.

15. As Dean and Gephardt showed dramatically in '04,
as Edwards showed earlier, and as Hillary's showing now. Iowans generally like all the Democrats, and don't appreciate it when people say nasty things about people they like.

7. And what, exactly, is wrong with attacking candidates on their records?
If anything is fair game, that should be.

the latest technology to get her word out, shows innovation.

Dang, Obama does not show much strength. Remember when Clinton said she was being attacked--how they used the "strength" mem against her (which of course is code for soft female). And yet, Obama does it again and again.

Double standards.

10. This makes three discussion threads on this already
I posted the following on another of them:

For me it all depends on the content

I oppose attempting to land low blows. But I have no problem when political opponents (which they are during a primary) attempt to land normal blows. Odd as it sounds to say it; "swiftboating" has given negative campaigning a bad name, lol. Every campaign utilizes negative campaigning, defining it for the moment to be: attacking the record and relevent prioir experiences of an opponent.
