Two Obama Ads Are Criticized

Two of Barack Obama's political ads are taking a beating in the press today.

ABC News reports that an ad the Obama campaign released yesterday on lobbying reform excised a quote in which "Obama promised to ban lobbyists from working in his White House -- a pledge the Illinois Democrat seemed to have backed off from earlier this month." The Obama camp responded that the cut had been made for time.

Meanwhile, The Washington Post reports that a new Obama health care ad "misrepresents some newspaper assessments of the Illinois Democrat's proposal."

The Obama folks must be saying and doing the right stuff, if the Wash Post and AP are after him. Always examine the examiners.

because I remember folks -- perhaps supporting Obama, although I don't remember for sure -- awhile back insisting that if the MSM were questioning Hillary then it proved she was unelectable and, therefore, the Dems shouldn't support her as Nominee.

I guess it all depends on one's perspective.

Of the two "issues" the first is completely without merit. He cut an ad down. It means nothing. The second is an issue I guess, but not a very large one as most candidates do that kind of thing when they can.

I suppose anything one can do to hurt someone else is a good thing at DU nowadays.....
