1. They are both good, capable, bright men. |
|
Not everyone will be pleased with whomever gets the nomination; but that is always true. We must live with the fact that the US has a winner take all system. We use the primaries to make our arguments, then we must get behind the nominee. Both are good men and would be presidents that would shame Bush*.

14. Must be your 1st election. |
|
We've been doing it this way for 200 years. Perhaps, you've watched too many Burger King commercials, though, and think you can get a nominee that reflects your thinking exactly. Only way that happens is if you decide to run.....what's stopping you?

This is the FIRST year for the front-loaded primaries This is the FIRST year the media has determined our candidates by their selection of whom to cover, whom NOT to cover, and whom to diss. This is the FIRST year that my state was not excluded. (good thing) This was the FIRST year that supporters of several candidates harrassed supporters of other candidates for no reason.Edwards and Kerry supporters among them. This is the FIRST year I felt they were both equally bad.I will vote for Frip or Frap.
Active in over 20 ELECTIONS.

20. I agree with two of your premises, but your second and fourth are false |

The media have always decided on who to give the lion's share of coverage. They are also not afraid to give lousy coverage to someone they don't like. Did you pay attention in 2000? Bradley was treated far better than Gore. Check the Daily Howler's archives for that one.
This is the first year that supporters of other candidates harrassed supporters of other candidates? This has happened since Jefferson and Hamilton.

Edwards is an outsider and he doesn't have the baggage and the flip-flops that Kerry has.
