Dennis Kucinich in Hawaii: Way to go!!
DK got 30% of the caucus votes, his highest percentage so far. I think the campaigning there might have paid off. Congratulations!!

6. Go Dennis! as for the media... agreed
After the Maine and Washington caucuses I remember finding at least 3 major news website's front page stories on the those caucuses that had ZERO mention of Dennis Kucinich. Although he finished 3rd in both. Anyone who still doesn't think the media is intentionally ignoring Kucinich is ... well, intentionally ignoring Kucinich.

GO DK!

99% reporting and Kucinich has 30%, Edwards in third with 13%.
So much for that unelectable thing, eh?

Edwards is one of FOUR MEN left standing. Again, he's won 1 State, and much of his Iowa showing came from the help of Kucinich supporters.

Now then, you want glowing reports on Edwards, find an Edwards thread. Don't come to Kucinich celebratory threads and expect those of us who support him to suck up to you because you've got a media darling candidate.

Come on over if you're inclined. You'll be welcomed with open arms!

On the Edwards thing, I'm PISSED to say the least! Edwards won out on the Iowa deal which is fine, but to sit there and act as if it didn't make a difference is not acceptable to me. The if that's not enough he turns around and calls for Kucinich and Sharpton to be shut out of debates! Yeah and a hearty f*ck you, too, Edwards! No, Sir I will not shut up, and No, Sir, I will not let up on you. Not now, and not in November. This will be remembered.

Clean campaign my heiney! It's been ugly just well hidden.

Nothing against Edwards, but the twin cities media coverage of last Saturday is an object lesson in media bias against Kucinich. Media did not cover Kucinich rally that was larger than well-covered Edwards rally. The rallies went down at the same time.

44. Kucinich got 30% of the 4000 who showed up in Hawaii
or about 1200 people. Edwards got over so 283,000 votes in WI so there is a matter of difference between coming in second in a state.

Kucinich's own campaign has said in Iowa that entrance polls showed him at 4% so saying (about Edwards) "much of his Iowa showing came from the help of Kucinich supporters." is ridiculous.

Face facts, Kucinich is a candidate with limited appeal who will be lucky to break 15% in his home state next week. He may another 50-100 delegates before the season (if lucky) is over but he won't be VP, he won't get a cabinet spot, and at the DNC in Boston he'll probably get a 2PM speaking slot.

47. Uh...ok
so you're telling me that Kucinich supporters didn't help make Edwards viable where he wasn't? Bull shit.

See I heard from Iowa Caucusers directly. Entrance polls mean squat when some caucus goers don't decide until they walk through the door. Kucinich had somewhere around 6% or so of the exit polls for initial support in Iowa so YEAH, I'd say Edwards OWES ME, thanks.

Oh, and do tell what the hell difference it makes if Edwards wasn't VIABLE how much support he had.

That looks like the Terminal Tower behind them.

73. I heard 8, maybe CNN is trying to use their influence?
Because earlier in the night, CNN had 99% reporting and had Kucinich at 30% with 8 delegates.

And this is from the Honolulu Star Bulletin...
http://starbulletin.com/breaking/breaking.php?id=2408

"Kerry is expected to take 12 Hawaii delegates and Kucinich will take the remaining eight delegates to the national convention in Boston in July."

So who speaks the truth?
