Both Kerry And Edwards Propose Using Tax Codes To Stop Outsourcing |
|
And it is disgusting to see Edwards supposters trying to make the case to be any different.
A big congratulations to Edwards supporters, you've just pushed me solidly behind Kerry.

1. It's a shrewd move for both - business friendly and sounds great! |
|
I have seen Kerry supporters who have been outsourced themselves stand up and cheer at his "no tax breaks for outsourcers" speech.
The fact that a company that has reduced its personnel costs by 90% doesn't give a rat's ass about a tax break is not really relevant.
It emphasizes Kerry as on the side of "the little guy."
He supports reducing capital gains taxes too!
And tax credits for medical expenses.

2. The cost of doing business is usually tax deductible, by the way. |
|
I believe -- without looking at the proposal -- they're not interested in giving a greater tax incentive for domestic labor costs. They're interested in limiting the deductibility of overseas labor costs.
I could be wrong, but I think that's probably what this is about.
