Could Roy Moore give us Alabama? |
|
let's see, the state's about 1/3 black. So if Moore takes 15%, we could win it on a plurality with only about 25% of the white vote. Nader will be virtually nonexistant in Alabama.

1. Here's what I advocate: |
|
we form a third party called the True Believers Party. We find a man who looks kinda like Roy Moore and we get him on the ballot. A week before the election, we paper rural districts LIKE MAD with flyers advertising his candidacy. This would hardly give the GOP enough time to get out the message that this isn't the real/same Roy Moore from the Ten Commandments case. If this guy can pull even a mere 5% in some states, it might make the difference.

We're up against the slimiest of the slime, and I'm more than willing to get a little bit dirty.

4. 5% won't be enough to swing this state |

We sleep with immediate family down here, ya know?

6. 5%'s enough for other southern states |
|
but not Alabama. But he'd do far better in Alabama than anywhere else. He could possibly even carry the state, which would be good since it would at least deny Bush it's electoral votes.

8. That doesn't do us any good. |
|
We have to get 270 electoral votes to win this thing or else it's thrown to the house. Roy Moore carrying Alabama will hurt Bush but it won't help us at all.

9. well if that's the case then we need to keep him low enough |
|
so Kerry can get a narrow plurality. Just enough so we can win with 40%.

him. Just paper the place and send some fliers to news stations. If at all possible, hold a TBP(True Believers Party - for those with trouble with acronyms)foot washing fund raiser at a local church!
For authenticity it should be called a Foot Warshin' Fund Raiser for Roy Moore. This also makes a good cover for anti-bush* info(aka - FACTS) to be presented!
I wish I was in Dixie! Look Away! Look Away! Dixieland!
fob - politics can be fun
edit - spelling errors

Has Roy Moore announced he's running? As an Independent or Constitution Party?
