11. Maybe not so much.
Women don't seem to go for en masse backlash in proportion to their numbers. But I don't know how the American black community will take it. Unless they begin the attack themselves which could seriously happen. I don't know. And that not knowing is probably an epidemic. Who wants to take a chance on unintended consequences? When Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated, our cities burned. Nothing burned when JFK or RFK were murdered, did it?

So maybe official crit of Obama WON'T look like the slime being dropped on Hillary?

36. Readers Digest version
Frenchie, I love ya, but you gotta apply a little analysis to what you post instead of overwhelming folks by sheer volume.

Going thru all of all the Senate bills you listed, only 1 passed into law:

S.2125 : Promote relief, security, and democracy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Latest Major Action: Became Public Law No: 109-456

Three "feel good" resolutions passed in the Senate:

S.RES.291 : congratulate the Chicago White Sox on winning the 2005 World Series Championship.
Latest Major Action: 10/27/2005 Passed/agreed to in Senate.

S.RES.516 : Recognizing the historical significance of Juneteenth Independence Day
Latest Major Action: 6/19/2006 Passed/agreed to in Senate.

S.RES.529 : A resolution designating July 13, 2006, as "National Summer Learning Day".
Latest Major Action: 7/13/2006 Passed/agreed to in Senate.

EVERY OTHER SINGLE bill and resolution was referred to committee and died there. Ok, I think there was one that actually got put on the calendar, but apparently Congress went into recess before any action was taken.

The point is, anyone can propose or sponsor legislation. You can practically phone it in with your staff. But it takes real work to push anything of any significance thru to make it a law. Much like Edwards last time around, Obama has been too busy campaigning since he got elected to do the work. Hillary has missed her share of committee work for the campaign trail too, but nothing like Barack has. He chairs the Foreign Relations subcommittee for Western Europe and it hasn't met ONCE on policy, and only twice to recommend ambassadorial appointment, even tho we are at war in Afghanistan with NATO members nations. That's not doing the job he was elected to do. At least NY seems fairly satisfied with the job Hillary has done.

And all Obama has to do is point out how "experienced" people are who got us into this mess.

19. I'd first have to believe that it is a 'cult persona,' which I don't
Nor is it bandwagon, fad, mob mentality, crowd psychology or the million and one other terms people who lose arguments use to describe those they could not persuade.

Nice compound question, though.

34. You act as if he has absolutely nothing else to offer America besides his personality.
I'm not fully sold on Obama, and he's certainly far from perfect. But he *IS* intelligent, educated, well-spoken, hard-working, and well-meaning, among many other things. That alone puts him light years ahead of the piece of shit currently in the White House. And light years ahead of all the Republican candidates combined. I wish he had more experience. But I'll take "lack of experience" over "lack of any redeeming qualities whatsoever".
