I'm starting to root for Hillary in this one. The media is going to have egg on their face for their Obama Mania crap.

but I think Obama will win this by 3 to 5 points. He loses a little of his aura of inevitability and she shows she's still very much in the game.

I don't want to get myself too excited, though. I'll just expect her to lose by 10 points and then will hopefully be surprised my something better.

But what really matters is this --
We are blowing the Republicans out of the freakin' water!

I think it may be a backlash against the backlash. It might be the big "f*** you" a lot of us felt over the last few days at the way she was attacked first for speaking passionately ("ANGER!") and then for tearing up ("FALLING APART!"). At least I'd like to think that.

Come time for the general election, if hillary wins the nomination, then you will need all of those obama supporters to win. You gonna replace their votes with republican voters ?
Hillary or Obama? More like Corporate Candidate A or Corporate Candidate B?
Either way, they'll just become this country's version of Gorbachev, presiding over a dying nation. I can only hope against hope that you hillbots and obamabots tear each other apart and let edwards get the nom.

Hillary stands for everything that Edwards is fighting against. Hillary is simply more of the SOS. Nothing would change with her in office. She'll probably even have Lieberman run as VP.

36. that makes no sense to me. |
|
if you're rooting for your candidate, who was second in iowa and projected third in New hampshire.......... how can rooting for the 'other' be good?
who wants a race, when you're in it for your candidate to win it?
that just sounds like some 'beat the spread' gambling b.s., not true candidate backing, in my opinion.
but if this is gambling and entertainment to you, it's cool. it is a for a lot of people. it's exciting. it's always like this in an election year. and then folks fall back, and worry about other things -- like 'Xmas/Easter Catholics'.

What I would really like to see is a brokered convention, with Edwards holding the balance.

51. She is the one they want in the G.E. |
|
They have been going on about her for 4+/- years now.
She is the one they want in the GE. She has 42-47% 'negatives', and even if she wins she is corporate -friendly enough to let the 'powers that be' slide. They may slide down our backs and crush us into a massive recession - but then, that was her fault..... she is the president.
The powers that be want her crushed (they don't want us to look at the nominee that will crush THEM aka-JE) They want us to play NINTENDO elections.... we are doing a great job so far.
