Tonight's results are a huge boost for the repug chances |
|
Their most electable candidate won in a landslide, our most unelectable candidate won (or did a very good election if for some reason the numbers reverse).

6. I'm just trying to be objective |

I'm not saying this candidate is better than that. It's a fact that McCain is the best repug candidate in matchups and has the lowest negatives, while Hillary does the worst among dems at matchups and has the highest negatives. Furthermore, McCain appeals to independents a lot more than Hillary - and we all know national elections are decided by independents.
I would even say that this is the ONLY matchup that worries me in the GE. Regardless of my preferred candidate, I want the dems to win, and today's results are not helping the cause.

9. Maybe according to NH democrats |

However, McCain trumps Hillary in OH and national matchups. Don't get me wrong, I'm worried simply because I WANT the dems to win the GE (including Hillary).

I disagree with your premise. All of our Dem candidates have serious problems in the general election unfortunately but I believe Hillary is our most electable candidate against McCain, since she is the toughest with the strongest organization and is endorsed by the heavyweights and can come across as strong against terrorism and pro-military. A lot of people wrongly thought the strength of her negative detractors translated into a loss when she ran for Senator of NY, but the naysayers were wrong.
