9. well..maybe its because "surge" polling is extremely unreliable
a few pollsters were warning about this.
I posted about it ans was shouted down with
"Obamas ahead LOOSER..get over it"

Predicting a close race. Only the Des Moines Register's poll was correct.

American Research Group, Jan 1-3:
C- 35%, O- 31%, E- 15% (U- 8%)

Though three more polls followed this one, this one looks remarkably accurate.

7. The same polls were right about the Republicans
It seems race caused some white voters to defect from Obama at the last moment.
