I want a brokered convention |
|
Hopefully Hillary and Obama continue to split contests. I'd like to witness that in my lifetime.

The insider always wins a brokered convention.

With the proportional awarding of delegates, Edwards could decide it. Or Obama and Edwards could get together to get a different candidate. Plus, after the first ballot wild things could happen.

One crowned prince (Bush) is enough.
I'm sorry, but I'm just not the big Gore fan so many people are. I find him arrogant.
I like all of our three top candidates. One of them will be president.

7. I Like Our Top 3 Better than any of the Republicans |
|
If that sounds like damning with faint praise, it is.
I'll vote for one of them in the general (assuming one of them is nominated), but I don't think enough of our countrymen will.
We're running with the second string this time. I wish I knew why. We can't afford to lose this one!

8. I know so many republicans who are voting dem this year |
|
A lot of independents are voting dem.
I just don't see Gore getting an overwhelming number of these votes. He's loved here, but too many americans still find him stiff and arrogant. He never talks; he only preaches. It gets extremely tiresome.

9. thankfully, it won't happen. |

brokered conventions inevitably produce battered and weakened candidates. It might be entertaining, but it's a piss poor idea.
