What the pollsters will tell you tomorrow |
|
is that polling during a "bump" or "surge" is notoriously unreliable.. those who have been around the block a few times, also know the extreme unreliability of weekend polling, which many of these polls were based on. Honestly...did anybody question how Obama could jump 10-15 points in one day! People got caught up in the "fever". I can understand that.. but to say that this was fixed because Obama lost is ridiculous. I remember trying to point out that these wild Obama jumps of 10-15 in the polls were unrealistic.. I was derided..attacked..called all sorts of thingd. These are the facts folks.. there was also a lack of young voters...they didn't show up..and were factored in. Also..the polls expected that Independants would get caught up in the "surge"..and they didn't..many went to Mc Cain. factor a pretty serious media backlash..and you have all the answer you need.

None of the genius pollsters mentioned the 20% undecideds in NH, and why that badly skews any poll.

4. Young voters NEVER show up |
|
They're notoriously unreliable. If Obama's planning on winning by gaining the youth vote, he might as well just hand it over to HRC right now. :(

I was working at a clinton HQ here in NH today. We just couldn't see obama wining by double digits.
we did a bunch of visability's & the majority of cars honked--like it or not that's a poll of sorts.
