Could we see a backlash in the media against Obama? |
|
Look the media is craven, completely without scruples.
Their one defining mission seems to be being the final say and yesterday's results made them look like jackasses.
So after much self recrimination (directed at the industry, never about personal responsibility) I predict the morally bankrupt soulless media will go after Obama with gusto in some misguided attempt to prove they are still relevant. That they are still the king makers, not us lowly voters.
I wish they would just stay the hell out of it and let the candidate campaign and debate.

I can buy that though I do fear that the media (particularly cable talking heads) is more vindictive than profit motivated.

Maybe they might want to finish this race off quick, so they dont make themselves look complete morons ever again. They are going to be very cautious from now on. However in saying that, they have had their 5 days of tearing down Clinton, they probably might just do the same now to Obama or else they may look biased.
They have no scruples.

3. No, I can't see how they can spin this as Obama's fault. |
|
Besides, he didn't lose as much as Hillary won. He met (pre-Iowa) expectations; she exceeded them.

13. I agree on Tweety, but I think it would be tough. If anything, they might be more cautious. |
|
I think that they'll definitely be much less likely to jump on the bandwagon, as they did en masse after Iowa, so even though Hillary won in NH, I don't think they'll rush right back to her.
This might actually make them a little more objective. One would think that they wouldn't want to repeat the same mistakes, so they might actually analyze instead of just reporting.
But then, they could just blather away like usual.

9. I think the nation is suupicious in how many republican ind. he is getting |
|
Look like N.H...democrats were supicious of how many republican votes and support Obama is getting and came out to vote to make sure the real democrats won. CNN and especially Old Gfmbling Bill Bennett was calling Hillary out of the run....guess she put a stop to that, I am definately a Edwards supporter , John Edwards all the way but Hillary is my next choice. I think it is really funny calling for unity and bi partisian, when the republican senate and congress wouldn't give a democrat air in a jug for the last 8 or 16 years, Republican aren't going to have it any way but their way and it will be the higway for the democrats that is the way I see it under a Obama administration.

If they pile on, he may get 95% of the black vote instead of 80%.
