7. It really is unfair...

..to Kucinich and Sharpton that they hardly get any airtime.

All the candidates should really get the same number of questions and equal time to talk. So far, it doesn't seem to be working that way.

I am aware that neither Kucinich or Sharpton are going to win the nomination, but if they survived this long in the primaries, and are going to be part of the debates, they should get something reasonably close to equal time.

There isn't any depth now. And for one candidate to get 30 minutes of speaking time, and multiple follow-ups, while other candidates get five or ten muinutes each is a joke. Why even make a pretense of this being a real, fair debtate; it's a fucking joke. Larry King is bush league as a moderator. He's a fucking pimp. The moderator doesn't have any business editorializing.

between Kerry being a veteran (something he actually chose to do and which has practical meaning in this campaign) and Edwards being biologically related to a mill worker (who really spent most of his career in management at the mill).

The camera angles we see a lot of have Kerry/Edwards in one shot, and Kucinich/Sharpton in one shot. I kinda get a sense of "viable" and "non-viable" from the camera angles alone.
