Kerry, Edwards start to sound like a team
By BOB KEEFE
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 02/27/04

LOS ANGELES -- Democratic presidential challengers John Kerry and John Edwards pointed out their differences in a debate Thursday on issues like Haiti, health care and who could attract independent voters.

But five days before the Super Tuesday primaries, which include Georgia, the two sounded more like running mates than rivals.

"He's a good man," Edwards said of the Massachusetts senator in the first minutes of the nationally televised appearance. "He's a good candidate. He'd make a good president — I'd be the first to say that."

The North Carolina senator, who has said repeatedly he doesn't want to be vice president, went on to say he and Kerry come from "different places."

2. They looked amazing together...
and as much as others would be qualified, Edwards has the "getting to know you" thing allready done so they could hit the ground running and not look back!! They really do compliment each other and the southern factor is so important...they present a strong and youthful image - even though Kerry is older - I think he's got a boyish charm about him, maybe it's the hair and that nice smile(which he needs to do often...)

7. oh how I wish
I remember all too well the enthusiasm I felt in 1992 with Bill and Al.

Sorry to say I don't feel that way at all about John and John because of the John currently at the top. He doesn't have Billy Boy's way with words, with cutting to the chase, with connecting, with charisma ...

Don't get me wrong, though I'm all for the ticket if it comes to pass in Boston and I sincerely hope they carry ALL the states Bill & Al carried 12 years ago.
