So will Al and DK's 24 delegates make a difference? |
|
And if not...how many delegates does it take to have influence?

2. How many does DK have now? |
|
Last I read he had 8--I don't know if it has been updated. Dean still has 180 or so delegates if they can all band together they could have some influence.

4. I expect DK will make some real gains next week |
|
in Ohio, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and possibly Vermont.

I don't think he'll get one delegate...As a matter of fact I think it's over for the both of them...

6. you honestly don't think DK will win any delegates at all on Super Tue? |
|

They are based on congressional districts and I can gurantee you that he will get some out of Ohio and Massachusetts based on attaining at least 15% and I believe he will do quite well in Minnesota. I expect DK will get more than 15% in many California CD including areas around San Francisco.
p.s. Sharpton will gain some in Georgia, NY, Ca, and Ohio.

he will get delegates in Ohio...the threshold is 15% per district...he will get 40% of the Cleveland vote...that is where his 11% statewide poll percentage is coming from

He needs 15 percent for the whole state, correct?
If I am wrong and he gets delegates from Cleveland, then OK... But I say that's it...BTW: Mark this thread and revisit it next Wednesday... We'll talk then.

I am pretty certain that it goes by districts.
