4. Just stop this, would you? |
|
You are providing 90% of all combative flame-bait from the non-Obama side, and your posts have become a non-stop advertisement for Senator Obama.

12. Heh, I'd think he was an agent provocateur working for the Obama campaign. |

why do you keep posting these silly threads so we Obama folks can strut our stuff. We love our candidate and given a chance we will talk your ear off. Do you really want to keep giving us these wonderful opportunities?

11. Why SHOULD we do that on a Proud2BAmurkin Post? |
|
Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 12:57 AM by Bicoastal
His/her posts are NEVER about policy. They're about making Obama look as terrible as possible--so we take these opportunities to tell him/her how great Senator Obama is and what an Asshole he/she sounds like.
You want policy, we'll discuss that on a different thread. Don't sit down with the Hogs for dinner and expect to be served Filet Mignon.

though my guess would be that lots of folks who lurk these threads are curious- and it might be cool to "break the cycle" by whacking back with substance- as opposed to matching "train wrecks."

13. Pay attention. Those threads are around here. |

Anyone who seriously thinks that elections are won on policy positions is not listening. All national campaigns in the modern age are won on imagery. Hillary knows that. Obama knows that. And Edwards knows that.
The policy differential between Obama and Hillary is barely perceivable. Their style and image differentials are enormous. That is where the game is played at least up until now. You build up your favorables and drive your opponent into the dirt. That is where Hillary wants to campaign in the mud. That is where she has taken this campaign this week. Sad, because Obama has offered a vision of a different kind of politics. He speaks to the best that is in each of us. Some here are so busy snarking and yelling, that they missed it.
Thanks for the opportunity to speak again.
