I sure hope so. Then maybe we can get some real focus on the candidate here, and stop the Democratic backstabbing. But I wonder when the DU adms. will stop permitting attacks on our presumptive nominee. Assuming that Kerry wins bi Tuesday, and nobody else has a rat's arse of a chance to beat him anymore, is that the point? Or do we have to wait until the convention if the others don't "officially" drop out?

1. How about we keep everyone in until the convention...
That way the debates will continue. These debates serve as free coverage of the anti Bush message. Every hour that democrats can be on TV talking about Bush's failures is an hour that will prove advantageous come November.

9. You think the media is going to keep falling for these staged debates...
...forever? These are not debates any more. They are tee off on George Bush sessions. The media may be idiots, but they ain't that stupid. I think we had better quit while we are ahead.

2. Well we are a long way from the convention still.
While I am a Dean person, I am glad that the Dems are really close to getting behind a candidate. Last fall people were saying Bush will win because he was the Republicans man. Nobody was challenging him. Whereas the Dems were so fragmented. It probably makes it easier that many are backing Kerry now and we could be as solid as people are behind Bush. Though with all that is going on, we may be much more solid.

3. That's my feeling also.
We need time to build a huge momentum toward defeating *. We're already united against *, but Dems must work harder to create the perfect political storm for jr. That means promoting our candidate day and night in order to get out the vote.

4. The fact is that after March 9th
There are only 16 states left with only 20% of the delegates

By March 9th it'll be over.

5. Good. But the other question I had
was about what will be tolerated on DU toward the presumptive Dem candidate.

7. keep going
I heard on a RW station that the republlicans want one to drop..so they can focus on Kerry...If Edwards stays in..bush will have to also defend himself against the Edwards charges,,,

As a side note in the Book by Hatfield..bush blamed his dads loss on the fact that the ol man had to focus on 2 opponents....this seems to be a problem for the republican party...they or maybe just the bushies can't fight on 2 fronts....

I say if the money permits..let Edwards stay in and the rest...it keeps the message of the party alive..esp..when bushie starts spending his money!!!!

11. I'd like to see
the guys in back pull way up, so that all the contenders are neck and neck. That way $hrub will have to learn how to counter a LOT more arguments than he would with just Kerry.

Yeah. That would be great. Maybe his head would bust wide open from trying to think too hard. *lol*
