We have to win the swing states...OH & FL...
Edward's campaign map of states and how in theory, they might vote.

Link: http://www.johnedwards2004.com/map/

Well...the state of Florida and Ohio (with Diebold..computers) will be stolen in 2004..again, by Gov. Jeb Bush, if we don't bring in the UN and have paper ballots. Florida election fraud has existed too long.

This campaigning and fund raising all a "dog and pony show" to make us think our votes and opinions count?

Democratic candidates should insist the on the UN to run their election because the other party is stealing elections and refusing election reforms when they had four years since 2000 to do so. The talking is over. They insist they have all the power (which is not true..they have less than 50% at most). In actual votes its about 25% of the population.

I want assurance that my vote counts.

1. If we add Arizona, we win.
We have to fight for all of these.

3. Florida is a criminal enterprise. The votes don't matter.
Give that one up.

4. I called today(FL)
for absentee ballots for my family for the primary and the very nice poll worker told me that I could also get the Nov election ballot sent without making any further calls.I asked him if he was really buuusy(it took me 1/2 hour to get through and he said the lines have been swamped for ballots.....
I also told him I noted our polling place was changed for this election and he said it was because of suspected HIGH voter turnout....

5. Is there really any proof that they're rigging elections?
I mean, people around here gripe about Diebold and the like, but is there really any *evidence* that the GOP is stealing elections? I realize that they purged voter lists in Florida and also pulled the "you can't vote if you haven't paid your parking tickets" stunt in black neighborhoods. But the rest seems to be just rumors.

7. Yes, it's been proven.
Florida had to settle a lawsuit with the NAACP because they were deliberately using error-filled "purge" lists to prevent black residents from voting.

However, if your question has more to do with voting machines than you have it a bit backwards. The problem with the machines is that there is no way to tell if they have been tampered with. Therefore, it is illogical to argue that tampering must be proven since that is the core issue. A better question to ask would be Have election officials provided evidence that the voting machines are trustworthy and that they conform to legal requirements including the ability to recount. The burden is on them not us.
