Huckabee: One part Elmer Gantry, One part Elmer Fudd
And a crazy bible-thumping gay-hating liberal-bashing Constitution-shredding lunatic underneath.
Regarding internatioanl policy, a would-be wolfowitz in sheep's clothing.

3. He shoved Jesus into the closet during New Hamphire, and now
is pulling out Jesus for South Carolina. Jesus can't be too happy with this jackass.

7. You don't tug on Superman's cape, and you don't push JC in a closet!
Get with the program, Huck: if you love Jesus in South Carolina, you gotta love him
in New Hampshire, too.

4. Elmer Fud-tree
Christian Conservative zealots are the number one domestic enemy of our constitution, and many republicans love them.

5. Your comment got me searching.
I remembered a Robert Heinlein story I read decades ago, one of his Future History stories. The story, If This Goes On--, first published in 1940, concerns an underground movement seeking to overthrow the Prophets, a series of theocratic dictators ruling the U.S. The first of the Prophets was Nehemiah Scudder, a backwoods preacher first elected President in 2012, and then declared dictator. Sound like any of the current Republican candidates?

"Secrecy is the keystone of all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy ... censorship. When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, 'This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,' the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything —you can't conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him."

Robert Heinlein, "If This Goes On--"
