Yes, it is still the primaries. Get your Kerry bashing in while you can. |
|
Because after Kerry clinches the nomination, you'll have to start posting your shit at FreeRepublic.

READ THE RULES.
Sorry if that gives you less opportunity for self-pity.
Personally, I'm ready to pile on the candidate come the nomination. I've got plenty of CONSTRUCTIVE criticism for whomever it is!

I only get my dander up when I am called names. I have one thread saved in which I was called many.
I am all for unity and beating Bush. I get very angry when my candidate and those of us who supported him are made fun of and humiliated and called names.
Unity is never achieved by threats and throwing sticks and stones.

I know you guys reside together online, so perhaps you can get them (you know who they are) to tone it down. It makes the entire crowd look bad.

14. No, they are no worse than others. That is the truth. |
|
We are not foreign creatures who need to be chided. I have been here since 2002, and I am treated as a fool for supporting Dean. So be it.
Each supporter of each candidate is fully and completely responsible for his/her own behavior.
If you choose to judge us, so be it.
I thought democracy was about each voter having a voice. Now I have learned differently. I am sad and disillusioned as are supporters of the others who have dropped out for various reasons.
If you stop telling us to march in step, we might.

18. I have no pity for you. |
|
I supported Dean for over a year, and have sent him more money than I've ever sent John Kerry's way. Dean got his butt kicked in the primary, and now he's out of the race. It is that simple.
I've moved on. Others feel they need to rationalize their effort by believing or acting as if very liberal Democrats are conservatives, a conspiracy was out to get them, Democracy in America doesn't exist, Bush really isn't that bad, the facts be damned. You and others are *never* going to get a positive response out of this. This shit pisses people off; many loyal Democrats are working very hard to make sure Bush is a one-termer like his poppy.
Dean supporters understand how rough the GD2004 room can be. Many (including myself) slimed Clark as a Republican, for instance. So dry up. Dean losing isn't the end of the world (though a Bush reelection very well could be ;) )

Although I CAME to that conclusion LATE in the game not early because I wanted to consider all of them. I haven't liked some of your candidate's supporters the same way you haven't liked some of mine..but I don't negate your candidate's contributions and I don't negate you. :hi:

20. Not true, not true. Sheesh. |

...Constructive criticism and even outright disappointment with the candidate may be expressed, but partisan negative attacks will not be welcome. If you wish to contribute to the defeat of the Democratic candidate for president, then you are welcome to use someone else's bandwidth on some other website. As the election season draws closer, we may expand this rule to include Democratic candidates for other political offices.
Here's to a lost art... :toast:

That's the best insult you could come up with?
You can pretend all you want, hide your head in the sande, that people will accept disappointment with something that Kerry says, or some criticism of something he supports, but that will not be the case. Anyone who does not support Kerry with all their heart and soul will be chased off or be alerted to death.

I hate it when people bait others and then use the alert feature to try and get them canned.
I HATE it. It's one of the most dishonest tactics I've seen on any board anywhere.
It also makes life hell for the mods and admins, who wind up completely used and abused in the process.
