Debate Headline should read . . .
CBS offers hostile Rubuglican staffers to interrogate two Presidential candidates, ignore the two that they feel are no threat, and shape the election as a threat to an American GOD, American safety, and the perfection of the b* regime

1. You are so right,
It was pathetic how they ignored the real important issues that Kucinich kept bringing up and how they kept trying to stir up trivial junk.

2. I didn't see the whole debate
but your assessment is correct about the part of the debate I saw.

I did think that Sharpton and Kucinich made themselves heard on several occasions.

I am so glad that we have 4 candidates in these debates because that makes it harder for the questioners to get away with their dreadful behavior.

If the media were fair, the sound bites that come out of this debate would include Sharpton's comment that Bush thinks he and America are the same, and they are not.

3. Sounds about right..
Although there shosuld be some text to describe how badly they did it. It was funny, in a laughing at the questioners, not laughing with them kind of way

4. Totally agree. The whole spectacle showed why God might NOT be on
the "side of America" - any country whose ruling elite would stage a repulsive dishonest spectacle like this, & try to pass it off on the public as "political dialogue and discussion" -- doesn't deserve the favor a just deity. If there is a God, and she was watching CBS today, she's either crying or puking her guts out.

6. Yes, and the interruptions were constant.
This was ALMOST as bad as Larry King's debacle.

9. I couldn't watch the rest of it.
Gee, gay marriage is an issue made up by Republicans to divide the country, SO let's make the Democrats talk about it for a loooooong time.
