Has John Kerry joined the rest yet and endorsed Open Debates?
http://opendebates.com/

I didn't see his name in this article and nothing on their news page so I am wondering if Kerry is supporting this effort?

Washington, DC -- "Lincoln's birthday provides an opportunity to remember that 145 years ago a legendary series of debates were held -- the Lincoln-Douglas Debates. Times have changed; contemporary presidential debates sponsored by the bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates have failed to adequately serve voters' interests. Presidential candidates Sen. John Edwards, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, and Rev. Al Sharpton all support reforming the presidential debates through the establishment of a nonpartisan Citizens' Debate Commission." said Open Debates' Executive Director George Farah.

1. Another question.

Are there John Kerry supporters here that would support an effort to get Kerry to support this organization like the rest of the field?

On Edit: I think there are several "strategic" reasons for Mr. Kerry to do this as well as the obvious one (that it is just the right thing to do).

2. Open Debates
I am glad that Kucinich, Edwards and Sharpton support Open Debates. I think that they are important, because they bring out the truth.

I think real "old fashion" debates are going to be what will help beat George Bush. George Bush wouldn't stand a chance against anyone in this sort of debate.

3. exactly
Bush would get his clock cleaned.
Plus, pssstt, no way in hell GWB is going to agree so it is a safe stance!! (as long as he follows through because if not then I would have to dump him next time around).
It just gives the appearance to me that regardless of his good qualities he will certainly put party over prinicple and people when push comes to shove.
