8. It would certainly help his case if he won South Carolina.
Even placing a strong second would probably force the media to cover him. As far as I'm concerned, SC is a two man race between Edwards and Obama. I don't expect Hillary to do well there. Tragically, I don't expect Dennis to do well there either :(

Edwards can't go into Supercalifragilisticexpealadocius Tuesday as "the invisible candidate".
