3. The level of venom around is through the roof
I'll be so glad when the primaries are over. Then we can let the healing begin.

5. Yes! Getting called the c word for trying to discuss something reasonable
last night was the last straw.

6. I don't think it's the content as much as the tone.
All of these things that spark neverending flamefests could be discussed in a civilized way. If they were, they wouldn't last long. We'd address 'em, put them into perspective, and move on.

8. I'm with you there Magic Rat.
Also, I'd love to read more stories of activism, and what other Duers are doing to help their candidate, or causes.

I tend to pay little attention to the attack threads, and love the real conversations.

No. GD is for serious discussions, GDP for food fights - both are good.

9. Yes, I am undecided as well and this BS is NOT helping me.
It's only discouraging and turns me off of the whole process.

10. YES! I'm new to following politics, and I've learned SO MUCH from DU, but now
with the Candidate Wars, I have to scroll through countless posts to find a thread discussing real ISSUES.

When there IS an issue-based thread, it gets buried so quickly with the sheer volume of He said/She said threads.

:-(

12. You really are a Magic Rat, if you could make that happen
especially since you are one of the main bomb throwers.
