2. I don't know why we bother with these polls. They never seem to differ substantially
from the "who is your favorite candidate?" polls.

4. Edwards is winning, but possibly
this is an effect of them not letting him talk too much?

8. Edwards sounds the most reasonable. Obama is landing the most punches.
Clinton sounds like a pushy, over-confident ass.

(IMO)

11. Edwards is out in front, Hillary in the middle, and Obama is getting his ass handed to him.
I am watching via the PEOPLEMETER< and that's how it is playing. Actually, on the meter, Clinton and Edwards are pretty close, with Edwards getting a few good spikes, but Obama can't get the thing to move off the middle, and when he talked about "religion" it dipped down.

Obama may have the people in the "room" but he is not resonating in the living rooms.

16. If you watched online, CNN had three feeds
The first feed was just the debate, the second feed was the debate with the "People Meter" superimposed on the images of the debate....and the third feed was a pretty rocking rally in TN with Bill Clinton (I switched over during the breaks--he was smokin;!)

Edwards was up approaching or around the "70" line almost continuously, with spikes. Clinton was in the mid sixties, with spikes. Obama was flat at around fifty two, except when he'd make a joke. Then, he'd get a little hump but it went right back down. When he talked about JEEESUS, he dropped to forty seven or so.

The people meter was not loving Senator Obama.

17. Per CNN the undecideds in that group broke for Obama.

They did like Edwards but they broke for Obama b/c they view him as viable. Unlike the Clintons, I believe in full disclosure without twisting the truth.

13. Edwards on substance.
Obama on humor and charm.

Clinton on debate tactics.

Went in supporting Edwards, and still support Edwards!

15. How come Edwards wins all the polls around here?
I think the ballot box is stuffed! I demand a recount.

If he's so good, why doesn't he win primaries huh?

:P

:P

Actually, it's because DU is a progressive site, and Edwards is the most progressive candidate.
