because a union endorses a candidate does`t mean that all the members will vote that way...

11. "Rural Americans for Hillary" lunch held in DC @ Monsanto's lobbying firm:
Yee-haw

October 18, 2007 10:06 AM

So later this month, according to THIS INVITATION, the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, is holding a "Rural Americans for Hillary" lunch and campaign briefing at the end of this month….

..but she's holding it in Washington, DC….

…at a lobbying firm…

… and specifically, though it's not mentioned in the invitation, at the lobbying firm Troutman Sanders Public Affairs…

…which just so happens to lobby for the controversial multinational agri-biotech Monsanto.

You read that right: Monsanto, about which there are serious questions about its culpability regarding 56 Superfund Sites, wanton and "outrageous" pollution, and the decidedly unkosher (and quite metaphoric) genetically-bred "Superpig."

13. Here's The E-Mail For The United Farm Workers
http://www.ufw.org/_page.php?menu=about&inc=about_office.html

Why don't you e-mail them and tell them they lack the mental acuity to make an endorsement, and that your bourgeoisie background gives you special insight into how folks who make their living from the sweat of their brow should think...

17. We all know how Monsanto has the best interests of workers and consumers at heart.
I like the way you label me while trying to deflect the fact that Hillary's idea of rural Americans comes from lobbyists from Monsanto.

I find it shameful.

Do I blame the rank and file union folks-absolutely not! They are busy working to feed their families. I blame the folks like HRC who allow these corporate giants the influence they have.

12. Well certainly, it is Hillary's campaign that continues to tell all Americans that
Latinos don't vote for Black People.

Clinton Pollster: Latinos Too Racist to Vote for Obama
Ryan Lizza:

“The Hispanic voter—and I want to say this very carefully—has not shown a lot of willingness or affinity to support black candidates.”

Why don't you e-mail them and tell them that their members who do the hardest work of all ; the work nobody else wants to do, picking lettuce, strawberries, and grapes in the blazing Western sun are racists...

15. Great endorsement!!!!!
Most farm workers are hispanic and they overwhelmingly favor Hillary nationwide.

I have made by now hundreds of calls for the campaign in the hispanic community and their support for Hillary over Obama is at least 5 to 1 in my state. Hispanics remember how much better they had it during the Clinton years and how attune to their needs they both were in the WH and now Hillary in the senate.

Obama may get some of the hispanic vote among the young, but the majority will go for Hillary. The exception being the old Cuban guard, they mainly vote Republican.

16. I Am Very Saddened
One poster suggested my Latin brothers and sisters are racist... Another poster suggested they are stupid...

I can remember as a kid seeing a bus load of mostly Latino people being driven to the field to work... Even then I had so much respect for them for doing the labor most of us would not do so we could eat...

It's also ironic that when Edwards or Obama supporters post an endorsement most Clinton supporters leave it alone... But Obama and Edwards supporters spam the Clinton endorsement threads...
