"I think it would be just as much a change, some people think more, to have the first woman president than to have the first African-American president," Bill Clinton said

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080122/ap_on_el_pr/clinton_obama

All this black/racial talk is driving me fucking insane!!! I used to adore and respect Bill but What the hell is he trying to accomplish by this baiting? Oh thats right, win at any cost. I think its disgusting and if they think they can just win now and try to unite the party later on, they are deadly wrong. What they (the Clintons) are doing is dividing the party further and further until we lose the GE in November. They are kidding themselves if they don't think theres going to be a deep lasting fracture to the party. Some people think everyone will unite come November, I don't think so. The clintons have been very successful into marginalizing Barack Obama into the "black" candidate that this is not going to wash over well later down the road.

2. Voting for a candidate based on their gender or race is stupid.
It may seem like making a statement, but it's plain stupid. We need the most qualified president, not a statement or someone who makes us feel good.

Voting for a candidate based on their race, their gender, or some other such quality is as bad as voting against them for such a reason.

4. If I vote for BO, it will be, in part because he's black. Same for gender for HRC...
I wouldn't vote for anyone just because they were black or female, but in these two cases, it carbonates my vote in a way it wouldn't be otherwise.

I'll admit it. I think it's cool.

3. Maybe because Obama thinks and acts
just like a republican. There woud be no change. Hillary can do the job. Women can do the job on less pay and raise the kids do the wash and handle the bills in high heels Just like Ginger Rogers. Men not so much. They only lack the thing men value the most a penis.
